The Rivers State Government has started the demolition of properties around African Independent Television, AIT/Raypower Radio Station at Ozuoba, in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
According to Daily Post, facilities around the media house been demolished while the building housing the media houses are yet to be demolished.
It would be recalled that the Rivers State Government had given a 48-hour quit notice to Daar Communication, the owners of AIT and Raypower media houses.
The Rivers State government and Daar Communication Plc have been at odds over the site where AIT and Raypower Radio Station established its transmission station.
The government had stated that the area had been mapped out for GRA Phase 5 Ozuoba.
