Residents hold Lagos edition of Ojude-Oba festival
The Ibeju community in the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State on Friday celebrated 2023 the State edition of Ojude-Oba festival amidst fanfare and splendour.
The event which was described as the first of its kind in the history of the ancient town was celebrated with the display of colourful cultural heritage of the people at the Ibeju Town Primary School, the venue of ceremony.
The traditional ruler of Ibeju-Lekki LGA, Oba Rasaki Olasunkanmi Waliu, expressed delight to play host to both his subjects and visitors,
The event also witnessed a cultural parade by members of ‘Regberegbe’ also known as age groups who paid homage to the monarch.
