Reps meet Tompolo over arrested vessels

Committees of the House of Representatives on oil and gas have met with the owner of security firm, Tantita, High Chief, Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo.
The lawmakers which include seven members also visited the arrested vessels by Tantita Security Services Limited at Oporoza on Friday.
They were said to have inspected the vessels and interacted with Chief Operating Officer of Tantita, Captain Warriedi Enidouh
The lawmakers also interacted with arrested crew members of the MT Harbor Spirit before heading for an interaction with Tompolo.
The committees include Host Communities Committee, Niger Delta Committee, Gas Resources Committee, Environmental Committee, Petroleum Upstream Committee, Petroleum Mainstream Committee, Special Committee on Crude Oil Theft, and Petroleum Trust Committee.
The team was led by Rt. Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Chairman Upstream and Oil Theft.
