Spanish La Liga giants, Real Madrid, has topped the list of the most valuable football club in the world, with a value of $6.6 billion, closely trailed by Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
The information comes from the American business magazine, Forbes.
Despite financial challenges, Barcelona remains in the top three. Real Madrid’s value surged by 9% due to their dominance in La Liga and European football.
They clinched their 35th La Liga title this season and are poised for their 15th UEFA Champions League victory, facing Borussia Dortmund in the final on June 1.
Manchester United, though struggling to secure titles recently, is the second most valuable club, just $5 million behind Real Madrid.
Interestingly, the top 10 list is dominated by Premier League teams, reinforcing the league’s reputation as the most competitive in the world.
