Spanish professional golfer, Jon Rahm has moved over the likes of Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi, to become the highest-paid sportsman in the world.
This was made known by Forbes’s recent list of sports richest men.
This comes after the two-time Major winner has signed with the breakaway group in a deal that is being estimated to potentially reach £450million, with around £237.5m said to be paid up front.
The 29-year-old Spaniard is is the latest golfing star to join LIV Golf.

He will also earn more than four times as much as Messi and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe who have signed bumper contracts with their respective club sides.
