Protesters have gathered in their numbers at Mokola round about in Ibadan, Oyo State to protest the cost of living.
The protesters are carrying placards with inscriptions” End foodbhike and inflation”, No more Emilokan, No more Awa lokan” Police please do not intimidated us”.
Security operatives including men of the Nigerian police force, NSCDC are on ground to ensure law and order.
It would be recalled that the Oyo State Police Command on Sunday warned against violence during the protest.
