Nigerian upcoming artist and former signee to the controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a Portable’s records label, Manny Monie, has revealed why he reported Portable to the police.
PUNCH METRO reported that an altercation broke out after men of the Nigerian Police Force, Ogun State Command attempted to arrest Portable at his bar.
In a now-viral video, Manny Monie admits to having petitioned the police to arrest Portable.
He continued, saying that after three months, Portable still had not responded to the petition.
Recall that Manny Monie, Portable’s signee, was supposedly attacked by Portable in November for allegedly using another distributor.
Moreover, Portable stated that he generates millions of naira at the studio in a matter of days, but that he was startled to find sales of only N7,000 upon his return from a month-long trip.
Manny Monie, however, claimed that even after receiving N700,000 from him to appear in one of his songs, his old boss still accused him of being a fraudster.
