Popular Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane, has submitted that street-pop artist, Habeeb Okikola, better known as Portable is more relevant than Ayo Balogun, famously known as Wizkid.
Krane, who is real name is Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, made this disclosure in a statement via his X.
Krane, who has been actively engaging in discussions surrounding the ongoing drama between fellow artists Davido and BNXN, stirred social media when he suggested that Nigerian-British rapper, Skepta played a pivotal role in Portable’s surge in relevance.
He pointed out that Portable has gained more prominence in today’s music scene compared to the Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid.
Krane stated further that the British rapper, Skepta can be attributed for Portable’s current relevance.
Portable and Skepta recently collaborated on a song Tony Montana.
