A popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Musisiliu Ajikanle, popularly known as Buffalo, is dead.
The news of his death was broken by a fellow actor and filmmaker, Saliu Gbolagade, through his Instagram page.
“Ina Lilah Waina Allah Rajiun God gave each of us the gift of life, and God gifted us with eternal life.
Rest well, Musiliu Ajikanle, my beloved friend. Your love will never be forgotten, and neither can your steps ever be replaced. May you enter paradise with the blessings of a good life lived,” Gbolagade wrote.
Reports revealed that the late skilful actor, who was popular with his Yoruba Ibadan accent, died of a stroke.
A popular Ibadan-based pastor and the founder of Agbala Gabriel Global, who is known for his philanthropical work, had visited him in his Ibadan family compound sometime around July and called for fundraising to assist him.
The pastors were able to raise some funds for the late actor through online donations from kind-hearted Nigerians, who promised to foot his hospital bills.
However, colleagues of the late actor have started pouring out their farewell messages and prayers for eternal rest in the comment section.
Popular celebrities such as Fathia Balogun, Portable, and Sola Kosoko, have also offered their heartfelt condolences to honour the memory of the departed actor.
