Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force attached to the Iddo Police Division of the Federal Capital Territory Command have apprehended Nuhu Ezra for possessing human parts.
Ezra was detained on July 9, 2024, around 9:00pm, following credible intelligence.
He was found in Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and additional human bones.
FCT Police Command Spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh confirmed the arrest, stating, “the suspect, upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for N600,000.”
FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, has ordered a comprehensive investigation to identify the owner of the body parts, the intended buyer, whether the suspect committed murder to obtain the parts, and the duration of his involvement in this illicit activity.
