Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, attended the luncheon celebrating the 2023 Lagos State Public Service Week.
The event is to celebrate the public servants in the state and for presentation of awards.
The Governor disclosed this in a statement issued via his X handle, sharing pictures from the ceremony.
During the event, some junior cadre emerged winners, including an office cleaner and two clerks, and they were awarded cash prizes while recognizing their invaluable contributions.
Some senior cadre winners were also rewarded with brand new saloon cars.
The statement read, “I was honored to witness the incredible dedication and excellence of our public servants today during the luncheon celebrating the 2023 Lagos State Public Service Week. Your continuous hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed.
“As we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our civil servants, It was an added honor to reward 10 outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to Lagos State. Their dedication inspires us all to strive for greatness.
“To our junior cadre winners, including an office cleaner and two clerks, their triumphs show that every role is integral to our success and I was proud to award them cash prizes while recognizing their invaluable contributions. Our senior cadre winners were also rewarded with brand new saloon cars.
