The 2023 edition of the Nigeria Navy Presidential Fleet Review has begun with exciting activities and important dignitaries gracing the event.
The program themed: “Fleet Readiness for National Prosperity”, is segmented into five different events: Maritime Discourse; Beach fair/Bilateral talks; Gala night; Ice breaker; Fleet Review; Cultural night.
The 4-day program, which began on Friday, May 19 and would last until Monday, May 22, held its Maritime Discourse at the Naval Dockyard Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday.
The Ice breaker event is scheduled to hold today, by 5:45pm at Nile Garden, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
While the main event, the Fleet review is to hold on Monday, at the Naval Dockyard in Lagos by 8am.
Present at the event is the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral AZ GAMBO, CFR AM GSS psc ensp (RSA) MTM FNIM LMUSNI FCIS FIPS FCAI, while the special guest of honor is the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
