The National Emergency Management Agency on Thursday, August 10, held a National Emergency Coordination Forum meeting.
The meeting which focuses on food preparedness was held at the conference hall of BON Hotel Elvis in Abuja.
The agency disclosed this via its X handle, sharing pictures from the event.
In a related report, the NEMA head of operations in Adamawa, Ladan Ayuba, speaking during an interview in Yola on Thursday, urged residents in Adamawa to relocate to locations of less flood tendencies.
Ayuba stated that the 2023 Annual Flood Outlook predicted flood in five of the 21 Local Government Areas, including Demsa, Fufore, Numan, Yola-South and Yola-North.
