The highly anticipated movie premiere of award-winning Nigerian filmmaker, Jade Osiberu’s “Gangs of Lagos” was a star-studded event that had celebrities slaying on the red carpet.
Held in Lagos on Thursday night, the event gave celebrities the opportunity to showcase their fashion talents while sticking to the movie’s gangster theme.
The movie, which is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on April 7, is the first African original movie to premiere on the streaming platform.
It follows a group of childhood friends navigating their destinies in the bustling city of Isale Eko, Lagos.
The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Chiké, Tobi Bakre, Bimbo Ademoye, Ruth Kadiri, Toke Makinwa, Nse Ikpe, Bankzy W, Chioma Akpota and more, who all graced the event with their presence.
Other celebrities who attended the premiere were Bisola Aiyeola, Toolz, Adunni Ade, BBNaija’s Khloe, Hermes, Boma Akpore, and many others.
Bimbo Ademoye, who is part of the movie’s cast, stood out with her headpiece, while Osas Ighodaro stole the event with her jumpsuit and enchanting smile.
Funke Akindele made her first red carpet debut at the movie premiere after failed governorship bid, and Adesua Etomi-Wellington dazzled with her cooperative style.
