126 Nigerian evacuees from Sudan have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport.
The was disclosed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission through its official Twitter account on Wednesday.
The commission stated that the latest 126 evacuees make up the tenth batch to arrive Nigeria.
So far the commission has evacuated 1,856 Nigerians from Sudan.
The commission tweeted, “EVACUATION UPDATE: (10th Batch of Evacuation:) The 10th batch of Evacuees: 126 Nationals that departed Port Sudan International Airport, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 10 pm local time on May 9 via Tarco Air.
“Making a total of 1,856 evacuees so far. No Nigerian life has been lost so far. #StaySafe.”
