Street pop artist, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, recently shared his views on the current state of the Big Brother Naija reality show, expressing his belief that the show has lost its former charm and entertainment value.
According to Portable, this season’s housemates were unable to capture the audience’s attention as much as previous seasons, despite the massive publicity surrounding the show.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner and self-proclaimed Dr Zeh suggested that the organizers should consider paying him the grand prize of N100 million from the latest season to inject more excitement and entertainment into the show.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Portable stated, “Big Brother [Naija] no sweet again like before. All these people [housemates] no blow, make them pay me 100m I go use cruise finish them. Dr Zeh.”
In another follow-up story, he humorously added, “So na today BIG BROTHER show finish lol….”
The Big Brother Naija Season 9, titled ‘No Loose Guard’, concluded with housemate Kingsley Oritsetimeyin, popularly known as Kellyrae, emerging as the winner.
On Sunday night, Kellyrae triumphed over seven other finalists to claim the N60 million cash prize, an SUV, and various other rewards.
The grand finale of the reality show saw the final eight housemates—Kellyrae, Wanni, Victoria, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita—competing for the coveted title, with Kellyrae ultimately emerging victorious.
