The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has marked the first birthday of his twin children, Ooreade and Oreade, with a heartfelt message of gratitude and prayers.
In a post shared on his verified Instagram account on Sunday, the revered monarch reflected on the joy the twins have brought to the royal family since their birth in March 2024.
“One year ago, the Almighty King of Kings blessed the Royal House of Oduduwa with double joy — Ooreade and Oreade,” he wrote.
Describing his children as “priceless treasures,” the Ooni expressed his wishes for their future, saying, “We pray you grow to fulfill your dreams and aspirations.”
The traditional ruler also extended prayers to those hoping for similar blessings, stating, “May Olodumare’s endless grace touch everyone seeking such a blessing.”
The twins were born to the Ooni and one of his queens, Olori Tobi, in March 2024. Their arrival was widely celebrated, marking a significant moment in the royal lineage.
