One feared dead, six injured in Ogun accident

A tragic accident occurred around 9:48 am on Sunday at the Sagamu Express junction in Ogun State’s Sagamu Local Government Area, leaving one person feared dead and six others with varying degrees of injuries.

According to The PUNCH, spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi reported that the collision involved a Bus Mass Transit vehicle and a truck.

Akinbiyi said, “There is a fatal road traffic accident involving a BMT bus and a truck inbound at Sagamu Express Junction. One person is presumed dead and six others have sustained serious injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing.”
