Personnel of the Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a soldier, identified as Tope Kazeem for allegedly stabbing a man, Bunmi Omodele.
According to local sources, the suspect who is serving with 32 Artillery Brigade Owena Barracks Akure, was said to have stabbed the victim severely in various part of his body.
Kazeem was also said to have committed the crime in the company of his friend, Azeez Ayomide.
The incident has been confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, who stated that the command will soon release more details about the incident.
It was also gathered that the victim is currently at the hospital where he is in a critical condition.
