Indigenous security network, Amotekun, Ondo State command has arrested some suspects in connection with recent kidnapping of 16 passengers who were rescued in Akoko/Ose axis of the state.
This was announced by the State Commander of the agency, Adetunji Adeleye, who described the timely rescue of the 16 abducted passengers in Akoko axis of the State last week as another great achievement of the Amotekun Corps.
Adeleye, who also serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo State on Security Issues, expressed relief that the victims were recovered unharmed and were reunited with their families.
He advised people to be more security conscious after a distress call from an Akure community a few days ago resulted in the arrest of a kidnapper who had previously abducted two residents, while Amotekun men are still on the trail of four gun-wielding kidnappers who fled the scene.
