The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, is set to swear in his newly appointed cabinet members, including commissioners and special advisers, on Friday.
This announcement was made in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi.
According to The PUNCH, this follows the submission of the governor’s list of commissioner nominees to the Ogun State House of Assembly for a thorough screening and approval process.
The Ogun State House of Assembly had conducted a rigorous review of the nominees, affirming their suitability for roles within Governor Abiodun’s cabinet during his second term in office.
The oath of office will be administered to over 20 Commissioner-designates during the swearing-in event on Friday, the majority of whom had previously served in Governor Abiodun’s first-term cabinet.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11 am, with the Executive Council Chamber at the State Secretariat in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, serving as the venue.
