An electrician, identified simply as Tajudeen, has reportedly committed suicide after the death of his wife in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
According to The PUNCH, Tajudeen, was said to have hanged himself in his room at Sabo community on Friday.
Although the motive for the deed is still unknown, the Facebook page Ijebu Rewa, which uploaded the deceased’s picture, stated that he had lost his wife two years prior.
It stated, “The electrician lost his wife about two years ago. And his children are out of town. The cause of his death is yet to be identified at the time of filing this report. Investigation has started to know the reasons for such deadly actions.”
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, declined response to the incident.
