An unidentified 20-year-old Nigerian Tik Toker has earned the interest of American record producer, Timothy Zachery Mosley, professionally known as Timbaland, after mesmerizing him with an original song and sonorous voice during a session on Tik Tok.
In a video that surfaced online, the American rapper was first seen listening to the young lady as she sang and played the piano.
Upon the completion of her song, Timbaland exclaimed “DM me now.”
He said after a Zoom session with her, he was going to share his contact with her so they could stay in touch.
The video has since gone viral with many applauding the Nigerian singer for maximizing the opportunity to showcase her talent and many others urging other upcoming artists to quit waiting on chance to bring them the platform they desire.
Like the young Nigerian singer, other artists have been advised to utilize the possibilities of social media to show the world what they’ve got.
