The National Emergency Management Authority has carried out orientation training for the new National Youth Service Corps/NEMA Emergency Vanguard Corps members in Sokoto State.
NEMA disclosed this in a statement via its official X, formerly Twitter handle on Saturday.
It noted that the event had over 30 participants where the NEMA Information Officer, Dahir Kure, delivered a lecture on EMV responsibilities.
NEMA noted that the during the training there was an interactive session where the participants actively engaged by asking questions and showing interest in joining the CDS Group.
The statement read, “NEMA Sokoto Operations Office has conducted orientation training for new NYSC/NEMA Emergency Management Vanguards EMV Corp members in Sokoto State, providing insights into their roles in emergency management.
“The Information Officer, Dahir Kure, delivered a lecture on EMV responsibilities to over 30 attendees, who actively engaged by asking questions and expressing keen interest in joining the CDS Group.”
