Nollywood actor and comedian, Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, recently opened up about the abuse he suffered during his marriage with his ex-wife, Yetunde.
During an interview on “The Honest Bunch”, Baba Tee revealed that the physical abuse started with a hot slap from his wife.
Despite being initially attracted to her, he soon discovered that she had a tendency to be abusive.
He said “The first(wife) abuse I got was a big dirty slap, heavy one. And the way I met her, was surprise because she was sexily dressed.”

Baba Tee’s relationship with Yetunde began to deteriorate, and he eventually ended the affair, unable to tolerate her behavior any longer.
The aftermath of their separation was messy and scandalous, with Baba Tee facing social media backlash from his estranged wife, Dupe Odulate.
The couple got engaged in 2015 but decided to part ways in 2019.
Baba Tee went on one knee back in December 2015 when he proposed to Dupe just a few weeks after his first marriage to his UK based lover, Yetunde Bustline Oduwole crashed.
Their rocky relationship took another hit when Baba Tee’s second marriage, to Dupe Odulate, also ended in failure after only two years.
Dupe confirmed the news in an Instagram post, stating that she and Baba Tee were no longer together.
In the same post, she requested that people refrain from judging her without understanding her circumstances and apologized to those she may have offended due to the situation.
Dupe in her instagram post went on to say, ‘Dear Lord, condemn those that condemns me secretly and openly. Walk in my shoes, know what I go through before you judge me. Apologies to those that I have offended because of this guy. Now I understand better. Life goes on, I cannot come and die. Be a man and say the truth.”
However, Baba Tee who went ahead to marry a third wife took to his Instagram page in June 2020 to announce that he just became a father.
Sharing photos of his wife’s bare baby bump, he wrote;“Original kayeefi… Happy Fathers Day to me… Allah I thank you for giving me a Big Boy . Congratulations to you My Beautiful Wife For giving me My First Pride… Ose Iyawo mi , Ife mi… I love you “
“Original kayeefi… Allah, Thanks for giving me a Great Gift Ever… welcome my Son”
