A veteran Nigerian artist, ElDee the Don claims that his father was the first person who brought internet to Nigeria.
He made the revelation while fielding questions from a media personality, JOI, recently.
The singer who studied architecture also revealed that he inherited ICT knowledge from his father.
He explained that it was his father who first brought internet to the country and as such he was the one who initially set up companies and cybercafés on the internet.
He affirmed that his father was an IT guru as as such he is also good at the job even though he is an architecture product.
According to him, “My dad was the person that brought the internet, the very first person that brought the internet to Nigeria. So, he set up pretty much everyone; all the companies that initially, all the first cybercafés that you know. All of those connections came through my popcy.
“He was an IT guy. So, naturally, by association, I dey very align to IT even though I studied architecture.”
However, aside listening to his own songs, he disclosed that he also enjoys music from Fireboy DML, Oxlade, Joeboy, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and Mavins artists.
