The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, is now with the command in connection to the ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of the singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
According to The PUNCH, this was disclosed by the Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, through a telephone interview.
“Yes, Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation,” Hundeyin said.
Recall following the controversies surrounding the death of Mohbad, the police had invited Sam Larry and singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley.
PUNCH METRO reported that the police last week exhumed the body of the late singer for an autopsy which has now been conducted.
He said, “Autopsy has been concluded. Awaiting results.” This development followed the exhumation of Mohbad by a combined team of the Nigeria Police Force and health officials.
