An angry mob has attacked a pastor with Living Faith Church, Makurdi, Benue State, Dr. Aime, over alleged missing organ.
According to the Nation, the pastor is also a lecturer at Akawe Torkula Polytechnic in Makurdi
The cleric was said to have gone out for evangelism around Wurukum, a suburb of Makurdi, when the mob raised the alarm that he stole someone’s organ.
They descended on him, maimed him and stripped him almost naked before intervention by policemen, who rescued him. He was later taken to E. Division Police Station.
Two suspects, who raised the alarm, have been detained.
The police said they would investigate the matter.
