Recent revelation from popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike, that she is undergoing her third liposuction has continued to generate mixed reactions online.
The actress in an Instagram post revealed that she has decided to go for a third liposuction on Monday.
Recall that she had undergone her first liposuction surgery in 2017 and the second in 2021.
She also revealed that she failed to manage her first post liposuction period well which caused a relapse.
“Finally sharing this exciting news l have aggressively tried to burn my stubborn tummy fat, but it has not been easy.
“After my first Lipo, I was so careless with my healing process and I lost guard on my stomach. So it grew back.
“AND I DECIDED TO GO FOR MY LIPOSUCTION AGAIN,” she posted.
However, some of her followers on social media have reminded her to consider the aftermath of these surgeries.

@sparklifeafrica: “Why do you want to destroy your beautiful body? They won’t tell you the after dangerous effects. But in the near future, you will be running here and there.
“There are laser machines, you could have bought one and used it at home, they are just using you for advert amidst the impending future danger.”
Also, @maggie_marg09, commented, “Ladies, leave your body alone, it’s natural to have a falling breast, big stomach, stretch marks, wrinkled stomach after birth. Stop pleasing society. God knows why our bodies undergo these changes.”
Another fan, @official_d.bae, wrote, “Make una calm down with this liposuction stuff abeg.” While, @clementinaidowu, reminded her of the late wife of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, who died during a similar surgery, “Stella Obasanjo on my mind,” she posted.
@joynkechi51, also wrote, “Please you guys should be calming down. People are dying every day because of this process; hmmm the fear of death is the beginning of wisdom.” While, @pauliina_adewale, posted,“Another Liposuction Again? Please, stop Tonto, you are already beautiful. let’s not talk sad stories about you. These repeated surgeries are so scary.”
