Tragedy struck as Abraham Basif, on the verge of his upcoming wedding, passed away, leaving his circle of friends in deep mourning.
The news of Basif’s untimely death was shared on Wednesday by Theophilus Baba, a Facebook user.
Sharing a picture of the deceased, Baba wrote, “Death of a young promising man hurt me to my bone but God knows it all. I never knew the day I came to see you in the hospital was our last meeting on earth, brother. I am supposed to be typing congratulations on your picture this week Friday and Saturday but we judge God faithful in all.”
Upon checking Abraham Basif’s Facebook profile, his last post dated November 29, 2023, unveiled an invitation to his eagerly awaited wedding scheduled for Friday, December 22, and Saturday, December 23.
In this post, Basif shared the wedding invitation alongside pre-wedding photographs of himself and his fiancée, accompanied by a poignant caption: “He made all things beautiful in his time. Please join us as we celebrate the faithfulness of God over our lives.”The unexpected announcement of Basif’s passing by Theophilus Baba prompted an outpouring of mourning from other friends of the deceased on their respective Facebook pages.
The sudden loss of the groom-to-be has plunged his friends and well-wishers into sorrow as they grapple with the heartbreaking news, overshadowing the anticipated joy of his upcoming nuptials.
