Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
This was disclosed by Italian sports Journalist Fabrizio Romano on Thursday afternoon through his social media platforms.
“Excl: Manchester United have improved their bid to Inter for André Onana as he’s a priority target. New proposal now worth €50m with add-ons, total package worth around €45m plus €5m add-ons.
“An opening bid worth €40m plus €5m in add-ons was turned down by Inter as they always wanted €60m. Manchester United remain in contact with Inter as they believe €55 million could be the right number to close the deal. Onana agreed to personal terms with Manchester United,” he posted.
The Red Devils coach, Erik Ten Hag, is currently exploring the opportunity of signing a new number one goalkeeper for the team after current team number one, David Degea, had a mixed performance in the past season.
Also, Onana, who played in the Champions League final, put on a brilliant performance in the final and has previously worked with the Dutch manager at Ajax, making him an ideal choice.
