The late Nigerian ambassador to Morocco, Mansur Nuhu Bamali, has been buried in Zaria, Kaduna State.
According to Channels, the burial ceremony drew hundreds of mourners, both local and from afar, who converged at the Palace of the Emir of Zazzau, Nuhu Bamalli, to offer their last respects and condolences to the bereaved family, paying tribute to the departed.
The funeral prayer was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, underscoring the significance of the occasion.
Notable figures in attendance included the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani; Tajudeen Abbas, Speaker of the House of Representatives; Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State; and Balarabe Lawal Abass, the Minister of Environment.
The late Ambassador Mansur Nuhu Bamali, who was 53 years old at the time of his passing, was the younger brother of Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamali.
He breathed his last in a private hospital in Lagos. Throughout his life, he held the esteemed position of Magajin Garin Zazzau and was a respected senior member of the Zazzau Emirate Traditional Council.
Following the funeral prayer, Governor Uba Sani offered a heartfelt tribute, characterizing the late ambassador as a “perfect gentleman” and praying for the eternal peace of his soul.
