The Lagos State Government has introduced an electronic registration process for the 2025 Universal Basic Education (Continuous Assessment Scores and Placement Test.
This initiative aligns with the state’s commitment to delivering quality education to its residents.
According to a circular issued on Monday by the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Orunsolu Adebayo, the registration period will span from Monday, January 27, to Friday, April 18, 2025.
The circular stated, “Only primary six pupils in public and approved private primary schools in Lagos State are eligible to participate in the UBE by CAS and Placement Test.
“Registration is free for public primary schools, while pupils of approved private primary schools are required to pay N5,000 per candidate through the Lagos State Central Billing System.”
Yoruba Language has also been added as one of the subjects to evaluate pupils’ knowledge and critical thinking in the Placement Test by CAS.
Adebayo assured parents and stakeholders that adequate arrangements were in place to guarantee a smooth and efficient registration process, adding, “No child would be left unattended during the registration process.”
