The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 53-year-old woman who was reported to have been found with laminated electoral materials.
According to The PUNCH, this was disclosed by the spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday.
Hundeyin stated that the suspect was apprehended on Thursday at 4 p.m. on Candos Road, Baruwa, in Lagos State’s Iyana-Ipaja area.
“She was arrested with 550 different INEC materials. The laptop she used in printing the materials has been recovered and she couldn’t give a good account of how she came in possession of the materials. The case has been transferred to the State CID, Yaba, for further investigation,” he added.
