A Lagos State Magistrate Court sitting in Ejigbo has remanded a lady identified as Oyinlayefa Okungba for beating up his neighbor, Ofodile Isaac.
According PM Express, the incident happened at Amodu Fagbohun Street, Obadore area of Igando, Lagos.
Oyin was also said to have mercilessly beaten Isaac and destroyed his phone in the process.
The duo were said to have always been at loggerhead in the compound over an undisclosed issue.
However, Oyin pleaded not guilty to the incident after she was arrested by the operatives of the Nigerian Police Force, Igando Division.
After thorough interrogation, Oyin was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the offence and she pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor Supol Benedict Aigbokhan requested a hearing date from the court so that the police could present evidence that she was indeed guilty of the charge against her after she pleaded non guilty.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. K.A. Ariyo, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
The matter was adjourned while the defendant was remanded in custody pending when the she will perfect her bail conditions.
