President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria met with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom on Thursday.
The president’s new media aide, Olusegun Dada shared a photo of the two leaders exchanging pleasantries on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting the importance of the meeting.
According to Dada, the discussion focused on reinforcing diplomatic relations and cooperation between Nigeria and the UK.
The aide said continued diplomatic ties and partnership between Nigeria and the UK were discussed at the meeting.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited His Majesty, King Charles at Buckingham Palace,” he said.
This marks a continuation of engagements between the two nations, aimed at fostering long-term partnerships.
This meeting follows their previous encounter in November 2023, ahead of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, UAE.
