Kidnappers have reportedly killed three abducted siblings and a motorcycle rider in Taraba State, after collecting the sum of N60million as ransom from the siblings’ father.
The Taraba State Police spokesperson, DSP Usman Abdullahi, confirmed that the incident occurred at a forest near Garin Dogo in Lau Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.
Daily Trust reported that three of the victims were siblings and were abducted at Garin Dogo by kidnappers, who initially demanded N100 million ransom.
The father of the three siblings, identified as Alhaji Musa, then negotiated with the kidnappers to pay N60 million.
Upon payment, the kidnappers allegedly agreed to release the three siblings and the motorcycle rider, who was hired to deliver the ransom to the abductors at a forest near the village.
However, after receiving the money, they killed all four of the victims.
