The four abducted students of the Kogi State Polytechnic and their driver have regained their freedom.
Recall, that just last week, the said victims were kidnapped on their way home for the yulitide, en route the Akunnu-Ajowa Road in the Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The PUNCH reported that shortly after the abduction, the hoodlums contacted their families demanding a ransom of N16 million.
While, it is yet unknown if the requested amount was paid or not, a community leader and former Majority Leader of the Akoko North-West Local Government, Soji Ogedengbe, disclosed that some amount was paid before securing their release on Wednesday.
