Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda has appointed a pharmacist, Fatima Shuaibu as the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Drug and Medical Supply Agency.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, made this known in a statement on Thursday.
He acknowledged that Shuaibu’s exceptional track record and professional capabilities was the basis for her selection.
The Katsina State Drugs and Medical Supply Agency is tasked with addressing the critical issue of securing essential health supplies across all levels of healthcare facilities in the state, spanning tertiary, secondary, and primary healthcare centres.
The Governor Dikko congratulated Shuaibu on her new role, expressing full confidence in her ability to leverage her experience effectively within this pivotal assignment.
“Shuaibu’s appointment marks a significant step towards ensuring sustainable and reliable healthcare provisions across Katsina State. Her leadership within the DMSA is anticipated to drive impactful changes, further solidifying the state’s commitment to healthcare accessibility and service delivery,” Kaula noted in the statement.
