Two TikTok skitmaker, Mubarak Muhammed known as Uniquepikin and Nazifi have been remanded by the Kano State Magistrate Court for defaming the character of the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to Peoples Gazette, the accused presented the governor as a corrupt official who, among other things, sold most of the state’s lands.
The accused, Uniquepikin and Nazif reportedly pleaded guilty after the allegations of conspiracy and defamation of the state’s helmsman were read to them.
Presiding Magistrate Aminu Gambari of the Magistrate Court 58, Nomansland, then ordered that the two Tikokers be kept in jail until November 7, 2022, when the case will be heard again.
