32-year-old Nigerian actor, musician, and stand-up comedian, Josh Alfred, better known as Josh2funny, took the stage on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 18 not once, but three times during the August 8 episode, leaving the audience both puzzled and agitated.

With a staggering 2.7 million Instagram followers and 2.4 million TikTok followers, Josh’s online presence speaks volumes.

His viral skit titled ‘The Fastest Reader in the World’ garnered over 250K likes and a remarkable 6.7 million views on YouTube.

Initially capturing attention with the “Don’t Leave Me” challenge on TikTok, Josh has now ventured onto the NBC show.

However, his appearances didn’t unfold as anticipated.

In a daring attempt to recreate his famous skit, the Nigerian performer breezed through the pages of three books before urging the judges to quiz him on their content.

Yet, one of the judges, Sofia Vergara, buzzed him prematurely, leading to a chorus of boos from the audience. Howie Mandel’s critique was sharp: “That was the most ridiculous act I’ve ever seen.”

Unfazed by the initial setback, Josh returned to the stage donning a large afro wig and basketball shirt. This time, he boldly declared himself the “fastest rapper in the world.”

A well-orchestrated setup, but it was met with a unanimous “no” from judges Heidi Klum and Sofia.

Undeterred, he made a third entrance in a different disguise, capturing Howie’s buzz as he embarked on a card trick.
