A fake medical doctor identified as David Samuel, has been arrested by the personnel of the Jigawa police command.
According to Daily Post, Samuel, claimed to be attached to the Rasheed Shekoni Teaching Hospital, Dutse, Jigawa State.
He was arrested was arrested during a raid of a pharmaceutical store at Mopol Base, Sabuwar Takur, Dutse Metropolitan by the Jigawa State Police Command and the Department of State Services.
While confirming his arrest, a spokesman of the Jigawa Police said that the suspect was caught with a slew of fake IDs and certificates in his possession, including ones purporting to be from Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto, the National Youth Service Corps, and the Nigerian Medical Association.
According to the police spokesman, the suspect admitted to forging all of the certificates that were discovered on him and that he had dropped out of Usman Danfodiyo University in Sokoto State.
After an exhaustive investigation, the suspect will be formally charged with criminal offences.
