A man was reportedly killed and another injured by a hit and run vehicle at Okuokoko community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 7:30 pm on Friday, at Jesu-Ovie junction.
According to a sources, the victim simply identified as “Baba” was crossing the road when the hit and run vehicle described as a white Lexus knocked him down, leaving his skull burst open.
The hit and run vehicle also injured another person who was coming down from his vehicle parked by the side of the road.
It was learnt that he has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The President-General of Okuokoko community, Evang. Believe Otatohwoma, while speaking with newsmen expressed sadness over development.
He described it as a big loss to the family of the deceased and the entire community.
