Former Real Madrid and current Shakhtar Donetsk defender, Vinicius Tobias’ influencer ex-wife, Ingrid Lima has made an audacious claim that he is not the biological father of her child days after celebrating her arrival with a tattoo.
UK Sun reported that 20-year-old Tobias and his ex-wife Lima welcomed daughter Maite into the world on October 8.
The Brazilian defender, who had been overjoyed by the birth of a daughter he believed to be his, expressed his excitement by getting the baby’s name tattooed on his body, but the joy was short-lived after his ex Ingrid Lima made the shocking revelation.
According to Lima who was said to have made the revelation on her Instagram Stories, the paternity test confirmed that the child actually belongs to another man, adding that they had an on-and-off relationship when she got pregnant.
Meanwhile, Brazilian portal ‘LeoDias’, claimed that the influencer had an affair with a delivery man also reportedly named Vinicius while in a relationship with the footballer.
In her statement, she revealed, “As everyone already knows, Vinicius and I haven’t been together for a long time, and during this period of separation, I had a relationship with someone else, and so did he. We both moved on with our lives and in the middle of all this, Maitê was born. We decided to do a DNA test, and it turns out Maitê is not Vinicius’ daughter.”
She went on to ask for compassion for Tobias, explaining, “I sincerely ask everyone to stop attacking him. It was my request that he not attend the birth or post anything about Maitê until the DNA results were in. Vinicius and I have already discussed everything and reached an amicable understanding.”
Tobias, who briefly played for Real Madrid during a loan spell this year, made just one senior appearance for the Spanish giants before returning to his parent club, Shakhtar Donetsk.
Despite his struggles off the pitch, he has remained focused on his football career.
