Health workers in Abuja, on Wednesday have threatened to embark on an indefinite strike from midnight if the Federal Government fails to meet their demands.
According to The PUNCH, the health workers under the umbrella of the Joint Health Workers in their numbers stormed the FCT even as they continue to make know their demands.
Among the demands made by the health workers are, the payment of hazard allowance, an adjustment in the Consolidated Health Salary Structure as done with Consolidated Medical Salary Structure.
They are also calling for an end to discrimination in the health care profession, among other things.
