An Ondo-based chef, Adeola Adeyeye also known as ‘Chef Deo, has confirmed that Guinness World Record has approved her cook-a-thon before she embarked on the challenge.
The 26-year-old chef is poised to displace the current cook-a-thon Guinness World Records holder, Hilda Baci.
Speaking with Daily Post through her manager, Ayotunde Fagbamiye, she expressed optimism about becoming the new record holder of a cook-a-thon.
The challenge which commenced on June 30 is scheduled to be concluded on July 6, 2023.
The cooking challenge is taking place in Ile-Oluji, the headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government in Ondo State.
“Guinness World Records granted her approval to undertake the cook-a-thon.
“We were elated upon receiving the notification that she can proceed to break the record for an individual’s cooking marathon.
“She possesses great energy and is prepared to cook for 150 hours.
“Her passion and determination are evident, and I am confident she will successfully reach the end of this journey,” her manager said.
