The Oyo State Police Command reportedly raided the apartment of the sacked chairman of Park Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary.
The police reportedly stormed his Ibadan residence on Tuesday, and some recovered weapons and ammunition.
A viral video surfaced online showing the cartridges and ammunition reportedly recovered from his apartment.
It was reported that although Auxiliary escaped, some of his loyalists were arrested by the police.
It would be recalled that the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde on Monday dissolved the park management system, and disciplinary committee immediately after his second term inauguration.
Pandemonium however broke out in the early hours of Tuesday at Olodo, Iyana Church, Alakia Isebo areas of Ibadan following an alleged sporadic shooting by suspected members of the dissolved Oyo state park management system.
Residents who spoke with Punch Metro confirmed the incident, calling on the police for adequate security.
As of the time of filling this report, normalcy has returned to the area while the Police command is yet to issue a statement on the development.
