Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have stolen a Toyota Camry belonging to Taiwo Fayobi with his three-year-old son inside in the Ikenne area of Ogun State.
The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident via X on Saturday, revealing the stolen car’s number plate as PKA 446 GV.
Reportedly, Fayobi was opening the gate of his house when the robbers got into his vehicle and drove away with his son. Fayobi was shocked and immediately raised an alarm.
He quickly went to the nearest police station to report the incident, hoping the suspects would be tracked down and arrested.
“Stolen Car / Child. On May 11, 2024. One Taiwo Fayobi, a resident in Ikenne, Ogun State, reported he alighted from his Toyota Camry PKA 446 GV to open his gate.
“Two hoodlums zoomed off with his car, with his three-year-old son inside. Influencers please share to save the boy,” the police spokespsrson said.
