Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have reportedly killed a commercial motorcyclist, popularly known as ‘Okada’ rider in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to The PUNCH, the incident occurred Sunday night at Olorunda Aba town in Lagelu Local Government Area of the state.
An eyewitness who craved anonymity explained that the motorcyclist was conveying his assailants to an unknown destination before he was attacked and killed.
“They (gunmen) went away with his motorcycle,” the eyewitness added.
Efforts to get the reaction of the State Police Command proved abortive as the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso’s mobile number was not reachable.
