A man suspected to have stolen over 10 motorcycles was set ablaze by mobs in the Angwa Rukuba community, in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
An eyewitness told The Punch that the police came but the mob overpowered the force who dragged him out of their bus before setting him on fire.
“When the suspect was apprehended, the police came and took him to their station but the mob dragged him out and set him ablaze,” the eyewitness said.
In another development, a clash between two rival cults claims the life of one person in the Gwarandok community, in the Jos South LGA of the state.
Meanwhile, in Mangu LGA, gunmen attacked the Langai community and kidnapped the traditional ruler.
The state police spokesperson, Alabo Alfred, confirmed the three incidents.
